We are a Michigan charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to building simple low-cost homes by forming partnerships with low-income families in need of decent and affordable housing. We believe homeownership is a vital step to help families break the cycle of poverty and contributes to pride in families and communities.
At Macomb County Habitat for Humanity, we offer a hand up, rather than a hand out. Through our volunteer network, generous donors, and sales from our two Habitat ReStores, we’re helping families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build a better life.

Building community for nearly 30 years, Macomb County Habitat for Humanity creates, preserves, and promotes affordable homeownership in Macomb County. In our community, Habitat for Humanity constructs affordable homes, repairs homes for income-qualified homeowners and seniors, operates discount home improvement stores in Warren and Shelby Township, and mobilizes hundreds of volunteers every year.
ALL ARE WELCOME HERE.
Macomb Habitat welcomes volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and also serves people in need of decent housing regardless of race, religion, age, gender, or political views.
